I would like to inform you as follows. On 6th December I delivered an invited global lecture within the framework of the Avicenna Alliance for Predictive Medicine (https://avicenna-alliance.com/) webinar series. The title of my lecture was “In silico oncology, in silico psycho-oncology and in silico oncological psychiatry as crucial paradigms of in silico medicine: past, present and future” [The corresponding invitation is accessible at https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7003736833398317056?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop ]. Attached you may find the slightly updated slides of my presentation. They provide a brief outline of the emergence of in silico (computational) medicine along with major evolutionary steps of the latter. The slides may be of some interest for the attendees of the course 705 (Multiscale Cancer Modelling and In Silico Medicine) of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens.
